All musicians welcome!
We are a friendly group of musicians and welcome anyone who would like to join us!
Currently, we are particularly eager to hear from individuals proficient in trumpet, french horn, all lower brass and percussion; however, musicians from all disciplines are encouraged to reach out. We encourage anyone who would like to join us to contact us and arrange a no obligation rehearsal where you can meet the team, see the music and feel if this band is right for you.
Our rehearsals take place every Thursday from 7:00 PM at Grange Hall, Littleover.
If you do not think you can commit to weekly practice, but are interested in helping us, we are growing a list of musicians who might be able to help us if we need some extra musical support at concerts, all we would ask is if you can, attend a couple rehearsals before hand, so you can meet the band know what to expect.
Our membership is at the low price of £8 a month, we use this money for the day-to-day running of the band so that the money we raise at our concerts can 100% go towards Derby and Burton Hospitals Charity.

Our Story
We are a community concert band comprising musicians of all abilities.
Since the band began in 2011, we have had one goal, to raise money for Derby and Burton Hospitals Charity by entertaining audiences with some amazing music.
All money raised during our performances are used throughout the sites of University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Trust for a range of items to improve patient experience when visiting their local hospital.
Since our inception, the band has raised well over £20,000 for the hospitals charity.
The funds we raise pay for extras that can not be provided by NHS statutory funding, which makes a huge difference to both patients and staff.
As a band we work hard and we love our music, it is an added bonus that our hard work over the years has helped raise money for the following :
• The Labour Ward – Trinity Plush cushions
• The DART appeal – Radiotherapy equipment
• London Road Community Hospital – Recliner chairs
• Children's Ward and Play Team – Toys and Games, donation towards refurbishment
• Ward 102 – Rotastand LOCO
• Urology Day Case Unit – Rotastand solo, Bladder scanner charger
• Ward 402 – 2 seater settee
• Ward 216 – Observation Machine
